During the 2023 LLM placements, 93% of the batch was placed. Comparing to the past two years, tremendous growth was recorded in the RMLNLU placement percentage, which is depicted below:

Students who complete their LLM placements at the NLU Assam can be proud of themselves since great achievements have been recorded here. Currently the median of the package offered to LLM students falls around INR 7 Lacs per annum. The current statistics with regard to placements of students having passed LLM programme from NLU Assam are not available, however, the overall market cred of the university and their networking means that placement market is healthy here as well. Some of the distinguished law firms like AZB & Partners, Fox Mandal & Associates, Khaitan & Co. etc. take part in the placement: the remunerations from INR 6.5 Lac

As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to LLM students in 2023 was INR 7 LPA. From 2021 to 2023, the median package has been stagnant.
