LLM Placement

The LLM placements at NLU Lucknow are quite good. The college has a dedicated Internship and Placement Committee that facilitates placement activities for students. Top recruiters like Anand and Anand, AZB & Partners, DSK Legal, and many more visit the campus for recruitment drives. In 2020, four students from the 1-year PG programme opted for higher studies, and in 2020, 18 students from the 5-year UG programme were placed with a median salary of Rs. 4,50,000 for UG students and Rs. 70,000 for PG students. The college provides placement assistance through various activities like mock interviews, group discussions, workshops, and pre-placement talks to prepare students for recruitment processes.

The number of students getting placements in TNNLU is relatively low,30 percent of students are placed every year.

But, in the last 2-3 years, the scenario is changing. A lot of law offices have visited the campus for their recruiting

Students are getting placed in reputed Tier-1 firms such as Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan, etc. Alumni of the TNNLU are working as professors, judicial clerks, advocates of the Supreme Court as well as High Courts, and legal officers in banks and many students opt for higher education from Indian and foreign institutes. The university has a specific Internship and Placement Cell that works for providing a wide of opportunities to students. 

Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) Faculty of Law has a strong placement history. In 2022, BHU Law graduates might expect to receive a median compensation package of INR 8.5 LPA. This is a substantial increase over the INR 5 LPA average income package for law graduates in India.

As such there is not any official information is available regarding the placements of the last year in Maharshi Dayanand University Centre for Professional and Allied Studies. But according to the demand in recent times we can say that students of Maharshi Dayanand University Centre for Professional and Allied Studies has a better placement record in the course of LL.M in multimedia than in the course of LL.M  in television. If we talk about the course of LL.M in this university then around 60 seats in total are available but in two phases, 30 seats are available in phase 1 and 30 seats are available in phase 2. And to get admission in the course of LL.M of this university, student must have gotten 50% of aggregate marks in his or her class 12th and 50% of aggregate marks in his or her Graduation in LL.B. According to the reviews from the students, the highest package was around 6 to 7 Lacs Indian rupees per annum and the lowest package was around 3 to 4 Lacs Indian rupees per annum for the students in this university.
