There are a plethora of opportunities for LLM degree holders in the government sector. Some of the popular jobs available are of judges and megistrates in the courts. NLU Ranchi LLM graduates have to maintain a good profile and have to clear the respective exam or selection rounds of the job posting department/authority. Some other profiles that the LLM graduates can apply for are:
- Public Prosecutor
- Legal Associate
- Civil Judge, etc.

In the NIRF 2024 rankings under the law category, NUSRL Ranchi has secured #22 spot. Some more similarly ranked NLUs that the candidates can consider for LLM programme are:

The fee structure for LLM course offered at both the universities include various components, such as security deposit, tuition fee, etc. Some of the fee components, such as security deposit are one-time chargeable, while tuition fee amount is payable annually/semesterly. NLU Ranchi LLM tuition fee is INR 66,000. The LLM tuition fee at RGNUL Patiala is INR 1 lakh.
As per this data, NUSRL Ranchi LLM fee is more economical. Candidates can consider other factors as well to make a decision. Moreover, the mentioned fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Yes, NUSRL Ranchi offer scholarships for its PG programme. The aspirants who fulfil the criteria prescribed by the university can apply for a scholarship scheme. NLU Ranchi offers merit and support scholarships. The merit scholarship is offered based on candidates CGPA in the first semester of the course. Additionally, the support scholarship is for candiates belonging to reserved categories.

The NUSRL Ranchi LLM cutoff list is prepared based on applicants' Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoff lists for counselling rounds. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2024 for the Fifth Round of Allotment, the Last Round rank for the General AI category for LLM in Intellectual Property Rights was 1623. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the Last Round was 3234.

National Law University, Ranchi select candidates for admission to its LLM programme based on merit in CLAT. The aspirants with a valid integrated law course/LLB degree passed with at least 55% aggregate can register to take the test. The application form can be filled out through the CLAT official website. After CLAT result announcement, the cutoff rank is announced. Candidates who meet the NLU Ranchi LLM CLAT cutoff have to participate in the CLAT counselling to secure a seat. After the seat allotment, selected students have to report to the university and pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

Yes, LLM 2025 admission process has commenced with the release of CLAT notification. The last date to submit the CLAT application form is Oct 15, 2024. Aspirants shall ensure that they submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline. Moreover, the entrance exam is scheduled to be held on Dec 1, 2024.

National University of Study and Research In Law (NUSRL) Ranchi LLM course admission is entrance-based. The aspirants are selected based on CLAT scores. Candidates who meet the cutoff score become eligible for participation in counselling. Further, based on CLAT score and counselling, the seat allotment process is carried out.

Yes, NUSRL is a good university for LLM course aspirants. National University of Study and Research in Law, Rachi is ranked #22 in the NIRF 2024 rankings in the law category. The university also provide placements support to the candidates. As per the media reports, the overall the highest package in 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. Moreover, as per NUSRL NIRF report 2023, the median package offered in 2022 was INR 6 LPA.
