For admission to National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam LLM course, candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Yes, NLU Odisha offers one-year postgraduate programme in LLM course i.e., divided into two semesters and offered in full-time mode. The Course comprises three foundation/ compulsory papers (three credits each), six optional/ specialisation Papers (two credits each) to be notified in each semester, and a dissertation (three-credits). Admission to this course is based on the scores secured in the CLAT entrance test followed by the counselling conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment.

As per the 2023 placement data, the median package offered to LLM students stood at INR 3.12 LPA. The median package for the same course in 2021 and 2022 stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 2.88 LPA, respectively. Some of the leading companies that were part of MJPRU placements included Qualcomm, Capgemini, Accenture, Airtel X Labs, and others.

Students who wish to get LLM seats at MJPRU must follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Check the eligibility criteria. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria are considered for the selection process.

2. If eligible, apply for the entrance test conducted by the university.

3. After the exam results, the university releases the merit list based on entrance test scores.

4. Based on this list, the seats are allocated. Those who get a seat must report to the institute.

5. Pay the admission fee to secure the seat.
