Panjab University offers LLM as one year course as well as two year course. The syllabus for both is different, although both the courses contain similar subjects. Punjab University is providing total 50 seats for LLM of one year course. Which consists of 42 Indian + 4 NRI + 2 Foreign National students. For Department of Laws, Panjab University LLM admissions, valid PUCET PG scores are considered. The Department of Laws, Panjab University Chandigarh provides various facilities to its students on campus. The college has a separate and well-equipped Moot Court Hall where various Seminars, Presentations, and Moot Court Competitions are held each year.

As such there is not any official information is available regarding the placements of the last year in Maharshi Dayanand University Centre for Professional and Allied Studies. But according to the demand in recent times we can say that students of Maharshi Dayanand University Centre for Professional and Allied Studies has a better placement record in the course of LL.M in multimedia than in the course of LL.M  in television. Eligibility

The candidate should have passed in the examination conducted by a recognised University leading to award of LL.B. degree (minimum 50% aggregate marks). Candidates who have appeared for the final year examinations may also apply

Candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school from recognised University are eligible to apply and register as per UGC guidelines.

The candidate shall have passed the Common Law Admission Test for LL.M. (CLAT PG) / PGCETL for 2023 with valid score or will have to appear for Entrance test conducted by NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).
