JB Law College admit candidates to its LLM programme based on their performance in the entrance exam followed by an interview round. The entrance test is conducted within the college presmises. However, for the final selection, the candidates performance in the last qualifying examination or his/her academic record is also taken into consideration.

Admissions shall be made strictly on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test provided he / she obtains at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test (45% marks for SC/ST candidates). This is a two year programme of regular study.

During 2022 placements, 88 out of 90 LLM students were placed. This makes the placement rate 98%. Earlier, 50 out of 51 LLM students were placed in 2021. The placement rate was the same in 2021 and 2022. Further, the median package increased from INR 8.50 LPA in 2021 to INR 9 LPA in 2022.
