Academic credentials, proficiency in the English language, and job experience are requirements for pursuing an LLM in the UK.  In addition to proving their English language ability with their IELTS and TOEFL scores, students must have a bachelor's degree in law or its equivalent.  Additionally, students with relevant work experience are given preference over those who are new.  Work experience is not required, though.
