The admission process for the PG course is almost completed. Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) 2024 was conducted on Aug 18. This exam date is as per a notification released by the university. Moreover, for the 2024 admission, the e-counselling rounds were scheduled on Aug 30, 2024, Sep 9, 2024 and Sep 13, 2024, as per unofficial sources.

Hence, candidates with a valid LLB/BA LLB or equivalent degree passed with required minimum aggregate are eligible for admission. No, the University of Calcutta may not admit candidates without a valid score of CULET-UG. Hence, the aspirants must take the entrance exam and secure a good score in it. Apart from this, the aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements, i.e., LLB/BA LLB or equivalent degree pass with the required minimum aggregate.

The Chanakya National Law University has a very competitive LLM course with the minimum number of seats intake. The sanctioned number of available seats for CNLU LLM varies every year, and with that, the availability according to the admission level. However, the total intake of seats for the LLM course is 60. However, the university reserves the right to revise the seat allotment. The above-mentioned seat intake is sourced from the official website/sanctioning body.
