Lovely Professional University (LPU) has established a comprehensive and rigorous on-campus placement process through its dedicated Placement Cell to ensure students are employable and properly placed. The university regularly organises placement drives, placement fairs and "placement weeks" for students, while inviting only the very top-tier employers from the IT, consulting, banking and core engineering sectors directly to campus . In these cases, students are interviewed directly on campus and plans are formed for written and technical interviews, along with real-time job offers . 

Alongside the placement process, LPU offers an extensive and thorough overall preparation effort on behalf of its students through the Professional Enhancement Programme and Career Services, spanning from a student's first semester. Students have dedicated modules on communication skills, aptitude assessments, technical skills, mock interviews, group discussions, resumes and building personal brands, while developing not only confidence and competence but, and more importantly industry readiness. Each department has a dedicated placement co-ordinator, and in addition there is a centralised team on behalf of the entire university to ensure smooth scheduling and any required resourcing or student support on behalf of the students on the day of each placement drive .

To further support their students transition to industry, post-placement follow-ups and one-on-one student counselling are provided to ensure the management of multiple offers and the informed creation of a career path. With an extensive on-campus ecosystem, through each stage of the placement process, LPU is creating efficiency but more importantly graduates that are successful professionally and ready to engage and contribute directly to the industry as professionals .

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has maintained a record of over 90% in placement records in most areas. In terms of stating a 100% placement record, this will vary per course and students' efforts involved. LPU has hosted over 2,200 recruiters to it's on-campus placement fairs in the past few years, which has secured thousands of job offers for its students. Some students have received international packages of 3 crore and a domestic offer of up to 62.7 lakh. The top 25% of students have averaged over 10 Lacs in placement packages. LPU works with industry partners globally and nationally, including to companies, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cognizant and Infosys. LPU provides students with placement training, industry engagement and internship experience.
