In terms of placements, I would choose LPU because of its larger placement ecosystem and recruiter network. The university regularly hosts more than 2200 recruiters and facilitates thousands of placement offers every year. Students from management programs get opportunities in sectors like consulting, banking, IT, analytics, and marketing. Placement training starts early with aptitude preparation, communication development, and mock interviews. The scale of opportunities available at LPU gives students a significant advantage when compared with many other private institutions.

When comparing MBA placements, both universities have opportunities, but LPU is often considered a stronger option because of its wider recruiter base, industry focused curriculum, and regular corporate engagement. MBA students get exposure through live projects, internships, workshops, and placement training. Placement outcomes depend on individual skills and performance, but the overall ecosystem at LPU provides strong support for career growth and better access to diverse job opportunities across sectors.

If placements are your priority, I would personally prefer LPU. The university has a larger recruiter base, stronger industry exposure, and a well-established placement ecosystem. BBA students get opportunities in banking, finance, marketing, analytics, and business development roles. The university also offers internships, industry projects, and corporate training that improve employability. With recruiters visiting from across India and good placement statistics for management programs, LPU provides strong career opportunities for BBA students.

Between Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran (CGC Landran), LPU is better. Let's do the factual comparison:
- Better placement opportunities in CSE with more companies visiting the campus.
- Bigger campus with many interesting activities and events.
- More focus on technical skills.
Good for those students who want more exposure and placement.
CGC
- CGC Landran also has opportunities, but as I know, generally fewer than LPU in comparison.
- CGC also has exposure, but in comparison, LPU gives more experience to students.
- CGC campus is smaller but decent for studies.
In my opinion, if someone want

Yes, CSBS students can sit for many software developer roles during placements at LPU. The curriculum includes programming, data structures, databases, AI basics, and business subjects, so students get exposure to both technical and management areas. Eligibility usually depends on company requirements, coding skills, CGPA, and interview performance. Some companies may prefer pure CSE students for highly specialized roles, but many recruiters allow CSBS students for software development, analytics, consulting, and product-based profiles as well.
