Ludwig Maximilians University Munich Eligibility

To get admission to LMU University for MSc in Economics the applicants are required to meet the following requirements:

• A UG degree in Economics is required
• A good understanding of the subjects and methods covered in a UG programme in Economics particularly in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Empirical Economics
• English Language test scores 

LMU MBA admission requirements are given below:

• The applicants are required to have a first professional university degree in a field of Economics with at least 180 ECTS points or an equivalent degree from Germany or abroad. The first should meet the requirements of Major in Economics and at least 15 ECTS points from courses in general Business Administration and at least 15 ECTS points from courses in Economics
• Also, the applicants are required to have good basic technical knowledge. Fluent Written and Spoken German and English are important
• CV
• English language proficiency score
• Proof of German language proficiency test
• GMAT

International students need to submit proof that their proficiency in English equals at least a B2 level, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or proof of equivalent proficiency in English. To be eligible for master’s programs at LMU international students require a minimum score in the following tests.
