Try to correlate your Subject and your work experience and you will know the answer yourself. You find that the job is well- related but add years to your experience and you will surely get your expected jump in your career. Naturally, you don't get jumps in career only after the passage of some time. You must be able to show a good profile of yourself.

MA eco will lead you to research and teaching both if you clear NET. You may also appear for IES which if selected will give you a great career start. Whereas MBA depending on what specialization you choose will pave your path into management/ administration/ finance/banking and many more. Choose wisely.
