Yes, you can apply for MA. All you have to do is just to score more then 50%-55%, so that you are eligible.

If you are interested in lectureship only and want to appear for the NET exam again, let me tell you that the NET exam is held twice a year in June and December Month. The NET exam will make you eligible for the assistant professor and JRF awards and for higher studies as well. If you have completed the post-graduation that is MA. You need not to do any other course for lectureship in private institutes. You need to decide whether you want to do a job or to apply for further studies like Ph.D. The Next UGC NET exam will be held in December and the application form will be released to fill in September month.
