Applicants aspiring to pursue the course need to have completed any of MBBS, BDS, DMS, DHMS, BHMS, BAMS, BASM, BEMS, BIAMS, BNYT, BATS, BUMS, BPT, B.Pharma, NO, and MD (AM).
Practitioners and research workers who have been practicing for the last 10 years, are exempted from fulfilling such requirements of basic minimum qualification, and may directly apply for the program.

MD Alternative Medicine Eligibility
Bachelor's degree (like MBBS, MBBS (AM), BAMS, BASM, BUMS, etc.) in any recognized system of medicine such as Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurvedic, Unani, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), etc., with a minimum of 55%.
Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination for admission.
