To be eligible for FDDI's Master Degree programmes, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an institute/university recognised by law in India.

• For M.Des. in Footwear Design & Production, candidates without a design background may be required to undergo a bridge programme comprising 2–3 relevant subjects to help them understand essential design concepts.

• For M.Des. in Fashion Design, any graduate from a recognised institution is eligible.

No, there is no age limit for candidates applying to the Master Degree programmes (M.Des. / MBA) at FDDI. Any one with a graduate degree can apply.

Students looking forward to take admission in the MDes programme at the School of Design UPES, has to necessarily meet the described eligibility criteria. The MDes fee at NID Bengaluru is INR 11.4 lakh for 2.5 years. On the other hand, an MDes at NID Ahmedabad costs INR 13.18 lakh. Comparing the two, NID Bengaluru seems to be the more affordable option for pursuing an MDes. It must be noted that the mentioned fees are sourced from the official websites of the institutes. NID Bengaluru MDes admission is offered to the applicants who clear the NID DAT cut-off for their reservation category. The cut-off is released in various rounds.
