Design Course in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru there are a total 347 seats in all 19 M. Design courses; including all reserved categories.On an average about 15,000 students take the NID exam each year. Of these roughly 1200 (8% - 10%) students qualify for NID Mains.

To get admission into Edu Brain Academy New Delhi for a Master of Design (M.Des), the candidate needs to qualify for one of the following entrance examinations:

  • Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED)
  • Graduate Aptitude in Engineering (GATE)

The difficulty level for the entrance tests is quite high.

Please take as many practice papers as possible for the course and record time. As, time is one of the significant factors in qualifying the exam.

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee within the given deadline. If the payment is not made, the allotment will be cancelled. Further, the vacant seat will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

Also, typically, there is no option to make partial payment.

Yes, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Studio Test. SID will conduct the Strudio Test and Personal Interaction (STPI) from May 9-11, 2025.

Candidates who are included in the STPI shortlist need to participate. Note that the shortlist will be released on May 6, 2025.

The M.Des program at SID will be delivered in a hybrid mode. Classes will be available in both online and offline modes. Also, classes will be weekends and evenings.

The student is urged to download the information brochure and carefully go through the program details.

IIT Delhi will release the list of provisionally selected candidates on its admission portal - https://design.iitd.ac.in/latest-news.html. The list will include the names and application reference numbers of candidates selected for admission. Shortlisted candidates will have to complete the remaining formalities to confirm their admission.
