Nalanda Open University
Even though there exist a lot of colleges offering distance education programs, the selection of the institute must be done with intense care. The aspirant has to identify the validity of the course they intend to pursue. Both Industry as well as government accepts courses of most of the prominent Universities. The most important aspect that they should look into is whether the distance education program of a University is approved by DEC (Distance Education Council).

On the Basis of your Master degree, you can apply for the same subject. If you get admission in another department of the university, which usually takes Entrance or merit base after admission, you have to submit a Migration to the next university.

You can pursue M.Phil while on the job by doing M.Phil from any of the distance learning university. It may be difficult to do a job while doing full-time M.Phil from a university.
