Students wishing to study MS Computer Science in the US can apply for F1 Visa or J-1 Visa. The former is for international students who wish to pursue studies in the US and the fee for the same is $185. J-1 visa, J student visa or exchange visitor visa is required for international students who want to participate in exchange programs in the US.

Yes, you can still apply for an MS in USA in Computer Science programme if you don’t have a background in this relevant subject provided you possess a similar or equal background that matches most of the prerequisite courses required for admission. Considerations will be made if you have laudable work experience in software development or if you’ve pursued similar courses at other universities or colleges. International students need to meet the admission requirements and provide the required test score for admission.
