The minimum eligibility criterium for MSc admission at Silver Oaks Institute of Science is passing UG in a similar Science domain from a recognised university. The selection criteria is merit based with the college accepting UG scores for admission to the same.

Candidates applying to MSc Nursing programme have to pass in BSc Nursing/ BSc Honours in Nursing/ Post Basic BSc in Nursing/ Post Certificate BSc Nursing or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should have been registered in State Nursing Council as registered Nurse and Registered Midwife and must have a minimum of one year working experience (only for BSc Nursing candidates).

For admissions to the MPharma and MS courses at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati students must:
- Complete the course eligibility of having a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related discipline to their chosen programme with a minimum score of 60% (55% for SC/ST 50% for PH).

- A 4-year bachelor's degree.
- It should be in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.
- You need good grades. Around 70% to 75% (3.0 GPA).

Aspirants from Science or Economics background need to complete a four-year bachelor's or three-year Bachelors with PG Diploma (40 credits)/ Masters with Mathematics, Statistics and programming to apply for the MS programme.
