M.Sc. Eligibility

The minimum eligibility for MSc at School of Hotel and Catering Management, VELS Institute of Science is passing UG, preferably, B.Sc Hotel Management/ B.Sc Food Science/ B.Sc Culinary Arts/ BA. Travel and Tourism Management. The selection criteria for the same is merit based.

NSHM Institute of Health Sciences Kolkata offers MSc across several specialisations. The duration for MSc at NIHS Kolkata is 2 years. The eligibility for MSc courses at NIHS is graduation/ bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% and a valid score in MAKAUT CET.

The qualification for the BS-MS programme at IISER Pune mandates students to pass Class 12 or an equivalent with a Science stream from a board. Students must also pass in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). The erstwhile avenues such as KVPY and JEE-Advanced are not taken into account anymore. This helps ensure that students are equipped with the necessary academics to pursue the integrated dual degree programme.

Candidates must pass a bachelor's or a master's degree or any other equivalent degree, preferably involving Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or allied fields with at least 60% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA or first class to apply for MSc programme at IIM Amritsar. Besides, aspirants must also have a valid score in CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE or JAM for admission.

The minimum eligibility for MSc at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University is scoring 50% of aggregate marks in UG from a recognised university. Admission into MSc programme at the college is merit based with the university accepting UG scores.

The MSc Nursing eligibility criteria can vary depending on the colleges, but the general requirements are:

• Obtain a bachelor's degree (BSc Nursing preferred)
• A minimum of 50-60% from a recognised university
• Entrance exam scores like CUET PG, AIIMS MSc Nursing, etc.
• Be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the State Nursing Registration Council.
• Minimum 1 year of prior Nursing experience.

Students seeking admission to AIIMS Bibinagar MSc courses must check the eligibility criteria before applying for their preferred course. Only those candidates who fulfil the requirements are eligible to apply. 

• Candidates must complete BSc (Hons) Nursing/ BSc Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic/ B Sc Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ ST candidates). 
• Applicants must have one year of experience as a registered nurse. Further, applicants must have secured a valid score in the AIIMS MSc Nursing entrance exam, followed by a counselling process. 

You should have a graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the relevant stream as one of the compulsory subject. Admissions to this course are merit-based and merit of graduation is accepted. The admission process for MSc course at Jaipur National University also involves a personal interview round. 

The primary eligibility requirement for admission to the MSc course at IHM Hajipur is that applicants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 55% in their bachelor's degree or three-year Diploma in the field of hospitality/ hotel management. Further, for the selection process, the institute accepts NCHMCT MSc JEE scores + NCHMCT counselling.

Stanford University look for students who perform well in academics, have leadership qualities and have innovation potential. Also, students must meet basic eligibility by holding 4 year UG degree with good records, total GPA of 3.5 on 4 point scale and showing English language requirement. Students must also submit GRE scores, LORs, SOP, resume to improve the chances of selection.

Also, students must be involved in internships, research work, and industry projects to strengthen their application. The technical programs demand prior experience in mathematics or relevant fields.
