For admission to MSc programme at NIT Nagaland candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling. Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate. NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

NITNagaland offeres two years full-time MSc progarmme especially for the graduate students to pursue their studies in the fields of science. However, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the institution, which are as follows:
- Candidates must have bachelor’a degree in BSc with 60% aggregate
- Must qualify for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT Jam) with a valid score
- Register for seat allocation through the Centralized Counselling for MSc (CCMN)

MSc course admission in Maharaja Ganga singh university you need to completed your graduation degree from well know college which is government approved.
In graduation you need to atleast minimum+50% and URATPG is the main exam accepted for admission to Msc course in Mahraja Ganga Singh University.

To get into the Institute of Technology and Management Dehradun for any programme into M.Sc you must have a Bachelors degree that too in a relevant field from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate score should be 50%. Some programs do require an entrance test like CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMAT, or sometimes ITAT, it is the entrance exam conducted by Institute of technology and management Dehradun by themselves. You can sometimes get a perk of work experience in particular programs.
