M.Sc. Eligibility

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing M Sc in Manipal School of Life Sciences is a graduation degree. Candidates must have passed in graduation with 50%. Candidate must have completed B Sc (Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Food Science / Nutrition / Agricultural Sciences or any other branches of Life Sciences)/ MBBS/ BDS / BPharm/ PharmD/ BVSc/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BE or B Tech (Chemical/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical) with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. MET is an acceptable entrance exam for admission to M Sc in Manipur School of Life Science. The MET Last Round Closing Rank 2023 (General-All India) ranges from 152 to 228.

To get admission to MSc course at TMI, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. Aspirants must graduate with minimum 60% aggregate in BTech Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Nautical Technology/ Naval Architecture/ Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering. Else, candidates having a three-year Diploma as Deck/ Engine Room Officer or BSc in Nautical Science with a minimum of 60% average with Class I Certificate of Competency as Master/ Chief Engineer may also apply for this course. To study at an international university, they must qualify the English language in IELTs with a score of 6.5 (no element below 5.5) or equivalent.

Candidates who qualified in the Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks are considered as eligible for the CUET exam based on the CUET eligibility criteria 2024. According to the CUET eligibility criteria, there is no age limit for CUET 2024.

Gujarat University M.Sc Application Process

Visit the official website of the University and click on the admission tab. After registration, login using the credentials. Now, fill-in the application form with mandatory details and upload the scanned copies of documents required.

Minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. Subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, And/ or Biology depending on the course a candidate is applying for.

Applicants must be at least 25 years old and must have credits in five (5) GCE O' Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject, with at least 3 years relevant working experience.
