M.Sc. Eligibility

For admission to MSc programme at NIT Meghalaya candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling.  Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate.  NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

NIT Meghalaya offeres two years full-time MSc progarmme especially for the graduate students to pursue their studies in the fields of science. However, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the institution, which are as follows:

• Candidates must have bachelor’a degree in BSc with 60% aggregate
• Must qualify for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT Jam) with a valid score
• Register for seat allocation through the Centralized Counselling for MSc (CCMN)

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc at Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology is a graduation score of 45%. Candidates with a B.Sc degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) and Chemistry as one of the subjects in all the three years are eligible for M.Sc at Uttaranchal University.The college offers scholarships to meritorious students and also reserves seats for SC, ST, defense/paramilitary personnel, and handicapped candidates as per the norms laid down by the government.

Pragyan International University  offer various M.Sc programme and the eligibility criteria for M.Sc is candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Science stream with 50 percent from a recognised university. Candidates must complete BSc with Biology/ Biotechnology/ BSc/ BPharm/ BPT/ BSc Food Science Technology/ BSc Micriobiology/ Nursing/ BMIT/ BSc Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Environmental Science/ Dairy Science/ Food Nutrition & Dietetics or any other equivalent course with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MSc at School of Health Sciences and Technology, 

Candidates must score a minimum of 50% in graduation from a recognised university to apply for MSc. The university has no age limit for admission.

The eligibility criteria for the MSc course at Ellen College of Design is that candidates should have passed Class 12 and graduation with a minimum of 40% aggregate. Moreover, the fees for MSc course is INR 2.95 lakh.
