I wouldn't suggest such a change in career. You can pursue a Masters in engineering course that focuses more mathematics. However, if you think that you will not be satisfied with that, you can opt for M.Sc. M.Tech in Mathematics and Computing can be good course for you.

Hello Purna,
It's nice to know that you are already post graduate in maths. May I then ask, why engineering now? Almost 50% of fresh engineering graduates are not finding any placements. In addition, doing engineering via distance education is illegal. I feel you should go for PhD in maths rather than pursuing this idea of engineering via distance education.

Hi Rohit,
Few universities takes admission for M.Sc Courses through merit basis, as well as through entrance test. The eligibility criteria for this course in colleges is graduation in any discipline with Mathematics and English as a main subjects with minimum 50% aggregate, however institutes prefer students with B.Sc /BE /B.Tech Degree. Candidates wishing to pursue MA in Hindi, need to have completed the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
1. Bachelor's degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the level of graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
