In order to submit the IHM Chennai MSc application successfully, candidates must pay the application fee. The fee payment can be done online. Admissions for its MSc in Hospitality Administration programme through the National Council for Hotel Management MSc Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JMSc EE). Currently, the accepted entrance examination date for the MSc course at IHM Chennai has been released. The examination concludes in April. Hence, once candidates secure a valid score in the entrance exams they can apply for the course. According to the official website of the university, the admission portal for the MSc  course is going to open soon. Until then, it is suggested that candidates should register themselves for NCHMCT MSc JEE on time and appear for the exam on given dates, followed by counselling.

The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition Chennai admit candidates to MSc HA course based on merit in the NCHM MSc JEE exam. Candidates are shortlisted based on the exam score. A cutoff list is released to declare the minimum required marks for selected. Candidates with a score equal to or more than the cutoff marks have to take part in NCHM MSc JEE counselling. During the counselling round, the seat allotment procedure is carried out.

Yes, IHM Chennai offers a two-year postgraduate course, divided into four semesters, and in the third-semester candidates can choose for specialisation in Human Resource Management or Sales & Marketing. The eligibility criteria to get admission into these courses is candidates must complete their BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Management/ bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from a recognised university or AICTE-approved institute.
