The selection criteria for the MSc programme at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) Jaunpur is a multi-step process. First of all, the candidate has to qualify in the entrance examination. Applicants need a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate degree from a recognised university in relevant subjects. Shortlisted candidates are then involved in the next selection round conducted by the committee. The final selection is made when the candidates submit the applicable admission fee.

Candidates need to download the admit card from the university/exam official site. Hard copies of the admit card are not sent. They can check the official website of the exam/college where they fill out the application form and get the information regarding the admit card issuance.

The application fee of every MSc Fashion Design college in India differs depending on the college rating, tuition fee, etc. However, the application fee for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is INR 3,000, also there may be a concession for the reserved categories like PwD/SC/ST, etc. Likewise, the application fee of NID is also INR 3,000.

No, the Science stream is not mandatory in Class 12 to be eligible for an MSc Fashion Design programme in India. You can opt for this course regardless of any stream in Class 12, however, you'll need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to get admission to the programme i.e., to obtain a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
