Admission to MS coursse at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences is completely entrance-based. The college offers MS course across four specialisations, namely Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics and OBG. Yes, a BSc student can take the GATE Exam 2024. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is open to candidates from various educational backgrounds, including BSc.

10+2+3 is the required minimum education for applicants. Additionally, students who have completed their undergraduate degree programme or are in their third year of study may register for the GATE admission exam. In the past, candidates could only apply to one subject or discipline.
