Greetings,
The placement rate at IHM Luckow pursuing Bsc, is around 70-75% in recent years. The average ranges around INR 2-3 Lacs per annum.
Whereas, the placement rate at IHM Lucknow pursuing Msc, can be comaprable or even slightly a bit higher. The average could range from INR 3-4 Lacs per annum.
So, a M.Sc at IHM Lucknow could be better in terms of placements and can lead to higher salaries and sepcialized roles, but require more effort to secure placement than Bsc because it is potentially easier initial placement.

The candidates with Honours Degree [10+2+3 system] in the respective subject from a recognised University shall be eligible to apply for admission to M.Sc. / M.A. courses. Candidates who have passed UG examination three years earlier or more before the year of admission shall not be eligible for admission to M.Sc./M.A.

In 2023, the cutoff score for general category applicants vying for admission to IHM Chennai was 178 on the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT-JEE). The minimal qualifying score needed to be admitted to the chosen course is this cutoff. More specifically, 238 was the cutoff for the M.Sc. programme at IHM Chennai that same year. - The Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) is a common entrance exam for admission to postgraduate Allied Health Science courses in Karnataka. It is administered by KSHEMA (Karnataka State Higher Education Medical Alliance).
- KSHEMA Allied Entrance Test (KSHEMAET): This exam is also administered by KSHEMA, however it is just for Allied Health Science programs.
