Hello Sir/Ma'am, Generally all the universities that are offering M.Sc. Statistics consider admissions through merit or entrance hence there is no spot admissions available. One needs to follow certain criteria to get admission to any sort of college.

As compare to srm university, loyola college, Chennai is comparatively best for doing M.Sc. Biotechnology. Loyola is a private owned college and it has NAAC A+ accreditation, and it is co-Ed and it also has good placements too. So its better to choose loyola. And there are even various colleges like,

3. Stella maris, Chennai

You need to have a B.Sc. degree from a govt. Approved university.
You need to have scored at least more than 50% in your B.Sc. degree.
There is no age limit for pursuing an M.Sc. so, many students pursue it later in their career.
