The eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Statistics is completion of B.A. (Honors)/ B.Sc. (Honors) in Statistics or Mathematics or graduation in a related discipline from a recognised institute Mathematics and Statistics as main subjects at the level of graduation with minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation. Hence, B.Tech in EEE are not eligible for M.Sc Statistics.

Mandatory Courses : B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Agriculture, Biology) , B.E. / B.Tech (Agriculture & Farm Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering)
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelors degree (B.Sc./B.Tech. in biological science or equivalent) in Physical Science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education.
