Hello. M.Sc. Biotechnology is basically a Science Post-graduation course that is good for students who completed B.Sc. In the same field. B.Tech in biotechnology is an engineering degree after which you can attempt an MS degree or M.Tech degree in the same field. Thank you.

Hi, to do an M.Tech you need to have a B.Tech qualification or M.Sc. With a B.Sc. It will not be possible. The basic eligibility for M.Tech biotechnology is B.Tech. Post M.Sc. You need to qualify GATE for admission to M.Tech. Students who are graduated in the field of Biotechnology/ B.Pharma/ M.Sc. Biosciences with minimum 45%-50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for M.Tech. Biotechnology. Students having valid GATE score are also eligible for admission to this programme. Regards.
