M.Tech Eligibility

To apply for the M.Tech course at Institute of Technical Education and Research admission, the candidate needs to meet the last educational qualification. Aspirants should pass BTech or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 60% marks (50% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination or MSc in Computer Science / IT.

Aspirants must pass BE/ BTech in relevant subjects to apply for MTech programme at NMIT Bangalore. Candidates are shortlisted for MTech based on their scores in NUCAT conducted by NITTE. 

Candidate who have passed BE or BTech degree examination in the relevant discipline and have secured at least 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects of all the semesters of the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the MTech programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. Minimum eligibility for BMS College of Engineering M.Tech admission is a minimum of 45% marks in qualifying examination for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka state.

In order to apply for M.Tech course at SKIT Jaipur the candidate needs to meet the last educational qualification. Aspirants need to complete graduation with 50% aggregate. For clarity students can check the table presented below:

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is that the candidate should have graduated in Engineering./ Technology with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh need a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation, a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation.

A total of six M.Tech courses are offered at SoET, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, i.e., Petroleum, Electrical, Nuclear Science & Technology, Energy Systems, Chemical Engineering and Energy and Environment Management.The admission process is conducted in two phases. Phase one is for candidates having Qualified and valid GATE Score) and Phase two is for GATE / non-GATE candidates.

Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SoET PDEU M.Tech course. The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. 

VIT Bhopal University offers full-time two-year M.Tech in various specialisations at the postgraduate level. VIT Bhopal conducts VITMEE, which is a computer-based test, to offer admission to MTech. The University offers full-time integrated programmes, namely integrated MTech. The duration of the programme is five years. VIT Bhopal awards a master’s degree in Technology and Science at the end of the curriculum.

The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Technical Vocational Subjects and English with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for integrated M.Tech course. Candidates must prove their eligibility during the verification process to avoid rejection.
