Candidate who have passed BE or BTech degree examination in the relevant discipline and have secured at least 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects of all the semesters of the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the MTech programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. Minimum eligibility for BMS College of Engineering M.Tech admission is a minimum of 45% marks in qualifying examination for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka state.

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is that the candidate should have graduated in Engineering./ Technology with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh need a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation, a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation.
