If you have done BCA in your graduation then you can take GATE exam otherwise, you are not eligible for this.

It is based on entrance test, so if you clear the test then you can get admission in IIT Mumbai.

Yes, ECE students can take up CSE GATE.
However, this is not as easy as it looks. You need to work your off to crack the exam.
Also, note that a few colleges require you to have a degree also in the same domain as the
GATE paper. For instance, I am ECE and I want to take up "Automobile technology" at some college listed under their department of Mechanical Engineering. Hence, I appear for GATE ME paper, but still not eligible to get that particular course because the college also requires me to have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME).

The last date of online registration for M.Tech programs at DTU was 13.06.2019. The GATE marks above 40 are good enough for admission here.
