The placement rate at National Forensic Science University is 50% in B.Tech- M.Tech in CSE with cyber security. The approximate package is about INR 12 Lacs per annum and the highest package is INR 66 Lacs per annum . Microsoft, Axis bank, Bank of America, Deloitte, and Accenture are the top recruiters.

Pursuing self financing M.Tech in VLSI from IIT Hyderabad is good as VLSI has scope in current industry and you are doing it from IIT, so it is better option rather than wasting 1 year.

It depends on which college you join. If you are joining government college it costs very minimal, if you are getting seat in private college, the fees will be around or above INR 1L but it depends on college and the city.

Currently, the opportunities are very less for M.Tech in Mining. If you have a clear vision of opportunities you can go ahead. Otherwise, after B.Tech mechanical engineering, you can pursue mechatronics or robotics in your post graduation.

Yes, You can do B.Tech and Mtech in VIT.You can also do a minor or an honour course for which you will have to complete some credits.This can boost your resume and widen your field of working.

Yes, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology does offers M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The course is a two-year full-time course offered across multiple sub-specialisations as follows:

  • MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial and Production Engineering
  • MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design)
  • MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation)  
  • MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering)

MTech admission is offered based on the candidate's performance in GATE. Further, candidates without the exam score are selected for the remaining vacancies through Departmental Test.

GATE Syllabus have 3 major sections namely General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Chosen subject. GATE General aptitude syllabus is based on intermediate level general understanding to test aptitude of candidates. However, Engineering mathematics and chosen subject's syllabus will be of graduation level. A candidates must expect good undergraduate level question from the syllabus in the GATE exam.
