A BCA graduate would need to first get an MCA (Master of Computer Applications) or a similar degree because M.E./M.Tech programs are generally for applicants with a B.Tech/B.E degree or an equivalent qualification in engineering or technology.
The main way Punjab University admits M.E/M.Tech students is by looking at their GATE results in related fields. You can apply to M.Tech programs like the Computer Science and Engineering if you pursue an MCA and are eligible for the GATE in Computer Science (CS).
