M.Tech

The tuition fee of M.Tech at Manipal Institute of Technology does not include the Manipal School for Information Science and is about INR 10-12 Lacs per annum on average overall. The maximum salary provided to the M.Tech students is reached up to INR 51.03 Lacs per annum. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Deloitte are some amongst the leading organizations that engage themselves in the placement drive for hiring candidates in software engineering, data science, consulting, and core engineering domains. 95% of the M.Tech. students get placed and several branches of the M.Tech. course have a placement percentage of 100% for its eligible students. 

Unfortunately, I can't locate the specific data about the present day M.Tech cutoff for entrée to the KTS, even though I know the college's general eligibility criteria. However, the admission is conducted based on the performance in KIITEE exam or valid GATE score.For M.Tech programs, the candidates should have a first class, B.E or B.Tech degree from a recognised University. Graduates with B.Tech equivalent qualifications as well as AMIE, GRADE-IETE ) shall also be eligible to apply. MCA qualified students are also eligible with a first-class degree.The fee structure for the M.Tech programme is approximately about two hundred and thirty four thousands only per semester and one time charges of seventy five thousand only towards counselling, registration and admission kit, Laptop etc.

The placement in M.Tech course in Mahindra University, Hyderabad are quite good. The university has reputation for placing its students to reputed firms like Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Capgemini. Based on the data of placements, the highest salary offered to the candidates was nearly INR 38 Lacs per annum, and average salary offered to the students was nearly INR 8.6 Lacs per annum. It also equally good in term of placement which around 90% of the students got placed . The university also boasts of close links to the industry, and instruction is designed to equip the students for employment. In general, decisions with regard to placements for students completing their M.Tech course in Mahindra University, Hyderabad is indeed lucrative to ponder.

Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU) in Lucknow awards a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate degrees, including that of M.Tech, but the university has not published particular placement data for its M.Tech graduates. It has stated, however, that the average salary package is roughly about ?6 Lacs per annum as placement information available for the university in general and that it includes top recruiters such as Byju's and Mahindra. 

However, it is noted that opportunities for placements vary widely across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and among different departments. Considering the scant information on M.Tech placements with KMCLU, the students should directly contact the Training and Placement Cell, inquiring for program-specific placement statistics. 

Contacting current students or alumni will also prove insightful, as the information will be useful for getting the placement scenario across colleges, especially for M.Tech graduates from KMCLU. This would allow for better decisions regarding the amount of career opportunities that lie post-graduation.

The current institution, K L College of Engineering, located at Hyderabad, has a name as far as this concern goes, in terms of engineering. Talking about the M.Tech program, there are a few things that can be evaluated before deciding to join this institution:

1. Accreditation and Affiliation :- 

The college is affiliated under an Osmania University and has the approval of AICTE. Apart from this, there are also NBA accreditations for certain selected programs, which adds value to its degrees.

2. Faculty and Infrastructure:

In general, K L College of Engineering has good faculty and the campus has the required infrastructure for M.Tech students such as labs, libraries, and research facilities.

3. Placement :-

K L properties are well-accredited with placement and quite a number of visiting companies for placement. But placements can vary depending on departments and specializations. Hence, it would be prudent to check with proper placement data regarding the specific M.Tech programme that interests you.

4. Specializations: 

The M.Tech specializations it has are many, and one very important thing to ascertain before your choice of a specialisation is whether or not it goes in tandem with your career objectives.

5. Research Opportunities:

Some research-oriented courses are put forward by the college, but you may probably want to see if there are currently any research projects running in your area of interest.

Thus, K L College of Engineering may be a good balance of education and placement where one could choose it, but it should be compared with other institutes considering personal's requirements.

If you have already finished your M.Tech from an IIT, you are usually exempted from appearing for GATE for a PhD programme in most institutes and even IITs. Several IITs as well as other research-oriented institutes relax the GATE requirement for M.Tech holders, particularly from IITs, considering that you have a strong academic record and research potential. However, the general rules for PhD admission vary from institute to institute and department to department. It is prudent to check the individual PhD admission guidelines of the IIT or other institutes you're interested in to confirm whether any other entrance exams or qualifications are needed.
