M.Tech

Aspirants need to pass a bachelor's degree  or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) to apply for Bannari Amman Institute of Technology M.Tech or ME programme. Aspirants with BE/ BTech/ BArch or BPharm/ BSc (Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Fishery) or Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science/ Arts or integrated MSc can also apply.

BAIT Coimbatore offers two-year M.Tech or ME programmes divided into four semesters. Aspirants who have completed graduation can apply for MTech. The institute offers M.Tech or ME in below specialisations:

BAIT Coimbatore total tuition fee for MTech/ ME is INR 50,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The admission process for M.Tech at VIIT Pune is based on the candidate's GATE score and performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round. The candidate needs to apply online on the VIIT Pune website and upload the required documents, including the GATE scorecard. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the PI round, which will be conducted at the VIIT Pune campus. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's GATE score and performance in the PI round.

The average package at RGUKT (IIIT Basara): Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies for M.Tech students is approximately INR 5 LPA, while it touches INR 17 LPA as the maximum and, in the lowest case, with a package of INR 3.6 LPA. Placement wavers from year to year in the on-campus recruitment rate between 30%-70% of its students.

Fee Structure: Tuition fee for M.Tech: RGUKT -IIIT Basara: INR 1.87 Lakhs/Year.

Eligibility: The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks or equivalent in B.E/B.Tech, Intermediate and SSC (55% in case of SC/ST candidates).

Streams Offered: Streams available for the M.Tech course are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication and Computational Mechanics in Mechanical Engineering.

The admission to M.Tech in RGUKT or IIIT Basara is given on the basis of GATE or PGECET scores, that make up 80% of the admissions. Remaining 20% candidates are screened based on performance at the interview. For being considered for admission, a candidate must meet the certain eligibility requirements. Applications are available online on the website of RGUKT. First preference will be given to qualified GATE candidates, and local and out-of-state reservation policies will be followed.
