Yes, candidates can pay the Thapar University M.Tech application fee offline. In case the candidate is paying the application fee offline, they are required to send the printout of the application form and must produce it at the time of the interview.
Candidates can pay the offline application fee through the DD in favour of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and payable at Patiala) to “In-charge Admission Cell, ' Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala (Punjab)-147 004.

The essential eligibility requirement for admission to the M.Tech course at Thapar University is that candidates must complete their BE/ BTech/ BSc/ MSc degree from a relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for reserved categories). Moreover, the selection process is based on candidates' GATE scores. However, the university also grants merit-based admission too. Candidates who get admissions for an MSc degree get 50% weightage for BSc marks and 50% weightage for MSc marks up to the pre-final year.

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MTech/ME courses at Thapar University are candidates must complete their BE/BTech/BSc/MSc degree in a relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for reserved categories and industry-sponsored). Moreover, for the selection process, the university considers the scores of GATE followed by an interview process.
Note: In case the MSc is a qualifying exam, the vacant seats (if any) shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 50% weightage to BSc marks and 50% weightage to MSc marks (up to the end of the pre-final year). An overall minimum

The allocation of Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology M.Tech seats is done on the basis of students' performance in the accepted entrance exams. For MTech, the institute accepts only two exams. These exams are GATE and DYPRAIT-PG. Students who wish to take admission are required to apply for the preferred course in the first place.
