The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is that the candidate should have graduated in Engineering./ Technology with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh need a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation, a minimum of 45% aggregate in their graduation.

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) requires applicants to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in order to admit them to its two-year Full-Time M.Tech programme in several specializations.
