Admission to B.Tech at MVJ College of Engineering is based on candidates' performance in the entrance exam, Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). For admission to the management quota, the institute accepts COMEDK UGET, AMPCK, and JEE Main scores in addition to KCET. After the announcement of the results, ranks, and cutoff are released, candidates have to participate in the KCET counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.
