The admission requirements for MacEwan University's psychiatric nursing programme vary depending on the programme and year of intake. 
The minimum entry GPA for the psychiatric nursing programme is normally about 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. 
Aside from the GPA criterion, applicants may be needed to attend an interview as well as submit reference letters, a personal statement, and other application materials. These variables are also taken into account in the admissions decision.

  • Grade 11 and Class 12/XII certificate 
• Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 65 percent, with no course grade lower than 50 percent, in the following high school courses:
  • ELA 
  • Mathematics 
  • Two Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, or Computing Science-Advanced Career and Technology Studies
  • One course from the below group:
    Group A: Humanities
    Group B: Fine Arts
    Group C: Sciences
    Group D: Optional

Many fields of study, including science, design studies, humanities, health care, and business, impact and are influenced by computer science.
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree can pursue this major. Courses for students' majors are simply one part of the degree requirements they must meet in order to graduate.
Students graduate with the knowledge and abilities required to realise their full potential as a software developer, game developer, data specialist, or information security professional. Prepare for these and other employment opportunities.
Computer Science majors can specialise in one of four areas or streams:
-Databases and interactive visualisation in general
-Systems and data protection
-Video games

International applicants require specific documents for the application process, thus, the university has country-specific requirements. The university accepts unofficial scanned copies of the original documents, however, all documents need to be in English. If they are not in English, translations must include the original document and the certified translation and translator information. Translations must:

• be completed by a translator who is certified to translate from the original language to English (include translator information),

• be complete, literal, word-for-word, and

• be laid out in the same format as the original document.

Indian students need to upload a full-color image of Grade 10 results and arrange to have the official results for Grade 12 sent directly to the university from the Board:

• Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

• Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)

• National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)

• State Board 

Apart from the academic transcripts, students would need to submit the following:

• English language proficiency test scores
