Dear Student, Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination Maharashtra HSC conducts HSC and SSC examinations twice a year. After releasing the results of the Maharashtra State Board, the board conducts improvement examinations for students who are not satisfied with their marks or have failed one or two subjects. To answer your query, yes, you may skip the examination unless you have already joined a college. Honestly speaking the value if class 12th marks are upto the point you take admission in Undergraduate courses because they people ( college admission authorities) judge you on that basis. That's it. After taking admission in Undergraduate programme if you do well and score good and Masters also if you did well, then your past won't matter. Many companies sees what you have done or learnt during your college time. Its the skills that you will develop during that period will matters.
