Deadline for round 2 Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling was December 30, 2025. Reporting process began on December 26, 2025. Students do have to carry original documents during Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling reporting. Seat allotment result was uploaded online on December 26, 2025.

Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for postgraduate medical and dental courses offered in the state under the 50% State Quota seats.

Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, they will have to present the original documents.

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats by the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling authority, DTE Maharashtra. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats. In case a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she can opt for seat upgradation.

Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 will be held for around 2 to 3 months. Counselling comprises registration to seat allotment result. Around 10 to 15 days usually takes to complete one round of counselling. A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held for Maharashtra NEET PG admission 2025.
