Amity University Mumbai is a good enough place to pursue Engineering studies. Syllabus is, no doubt, way better than University of Mumbai. Most of the students get their preferred stream without much issues. Faculties are quite supporting. Since the college is new, and the labs have come up in the recent past (multiple labs are still under construction and equipments yet to be delivered, but don't worry, you will need those labs only in 3rd or 4th year, other labs are ready), most of the equipments available are in working condition. Although, well known in Maharashtra, the college is yet to establish itself as a brand nationally. Having said that, it is a place that will open a lot of opportunities and might close a few (don't expect Apple, Bain or Google for campus placements).
Let us consider the following parameters:
1. Job placements: I have seen this to be the biggest concern for incoming students. Average annual salary has been around 4 lacs, which is neither disappointing nor heartening.
