The stipend for MBBS interns at Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Navi Mumbai has sparked concern and controversy among students and parents. According to new DMER regulations, private medical colleges in Maharashtra, including Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, must pay its MBBS interns a monthly stipend of Rs 18,000 each. This decision is consistent with the National Medical Commission's (NMC) recommendations for harmonizing stipends across both government and private institutions in the state. However, reports indicate that compliance varies per institution, with some failing to successfully follow these requirements.

Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College, Pune — One of the revered law colleges in Pune which provides quality legal education through experienced faculty and law facilities. And while Pune is known for a few of those tiered schools, other such outranked law schools like ILS legal School and Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College also fetch their roots from Pune. The best of these rest on a number of things such as student interest, teachers, and even placements. It still stands as a reasonable option for lawyers in the making.
