Most M.Tech colleges are accepting GATE scores for admission. State-level admissions to Mumbai University–affiliated colleges use MHT-CET (PG). For IIT Bombay, GATE plus COAP counselling is required. Some private colleges may additionally conduct their own tests or interviews, but GATE remains the main exam for serious aspirants.

Mumbai has about 60+ M.Tech colleges including 40+ are private colleges, 7 are government colleges, and public-private entities own 1 college. The top colleges are IIT Bombay, ICT Mumbai, VJTI Mumbai, Bharati Vidyapeeths College of Engineering, Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, K J Somaiya School of Engineering, etc.

IMED Pune accepts BMAT, BU-MAT, BVDU scores for admission into the courses that it offers. The flagship course offered is MBA for which teh institute accepts BMAT scores and does not entertain MAH CET scores for the same. Some other major courses offered by the institute are MCA, BBA, BCA and PhD.

IMED Pune admissions 2026 are open. Admissions to MBA are strictly entrance based with the institute accepting BMAT 2026 scores only. The institute does not accept MAH CET scores for MBA admission.

Yes. You can join the MBA programme at IMED Pune. The institute conducts its own entrance examination, BMAT 2026, which is the only entrance test for MBA admissions at IMED. To be eligible, candidates must have a UG degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Admissions to MBA programme at IMED Pune are strictly entrance based with the institute accepting BMAT 2026 scores, and the institute is not affiliated with MAH CET for MBA admissions.
