There are 22+ biotechnology colleges in Pune for UG and PG degrees. Fergusson College, MIT-WPU, and DY Patil Arts, Commerce, and Science College are considered the best private colleges for BSc in Biotechnology. The government institution, SPPU (UNIPUNE), affiliates most private colleges in Pune for BSc programmes, but also offers the most affordable MSc in Biotechnology course in Pune.

The best biotechnology college in Pune can differ by degree level, budget, and ROI. For B.Sc. in Biotechnology in Pune, Dr. D.Y. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College offers a decent ROI of INR 4.5 LPA (median). For an M.Sc. in Biotechnology in Pune, SPPU is the best, with INR 3 LPA (median).

Yes, admission to both the B.Des and M.Des programme will be based on VUNET scores. To be shortlisted for admission, the candidate needs to first qualify the VUNET exam. Shortlisted candidates next have to appear in a counseling session. The allotment of seats will be merit-based.

Also, make sure that you meet program-wise eligibility criteria.
