For PGDIM course admission, candidates must have satisfy the eligibility criteria and appear for the CAT entrance exam. Indian candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) process based on their valid CAT scores subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. On the other hand, international candidates are shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview process based on GMAT scores, IELTS/ TOEFL (applicable for foreign candidates) and 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

IIM Mumbai has highly qualified faculty. Most of the faculty are PhD and Masters degree holders. CIT also invites faculty for guest lectures and offer an opportunity to students to interact with some of the best personalities. Yes, IIM Mumbai offers financial assistance as scholarships to meritorious students. GATE-qualified candidates are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present INR 12,400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules. In addition to this, SC/ST candidates are offered financial assistance as per the scheme of Govt. of India.

Yes, IIM Mumbai offers hostel facilities to students. PGDIM, PGDIE, PGDSM are residential programmes and staying in the hostel helps develop their socio-cultural horizons. The hostels are really one of the best in the country. All the rooms at IIM Mumbai are well furnished single occupancy with attached bathrooms.

The chances of getting a seat under state quota or AIQ are very less as it requires a score of more than 450 for 85% and more than 500 for 15% seats. Hope this helps!

It is a subjective question and the answer may vary from candidate to candidate. The NMIMS conducts its own entrance tests for admission to various courses. Around 75% weightage is given to entrance score and the rest to Group Discussion (GD) round and Personal Interview (PI). For admission to management courses, one has to appear in the NMAT which is conducted by GMAC. If you score well in the exam and get well in the GD and PI, you get selected. There are no reservation based on caste, religious or economic background, so you can get along easily.
