For admission to the MBA programme, candidates must take the CUET-PG exam and should aim to score well in it as MGKVP inducts candidates for the MBA programme based on valid CUET-PG scores. Candidates can apply for the said exam through the CUET official website powered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) by paying the required application fee for final submission. Candidates having valid CUET-PG scores can apply for the counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment.

Given below are the eligibility and selection criteria for admission to the MBA programme at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP):
- The candidate must possess a recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Candidates having valid scores in CUET-PG can apply for the counselling process through MGKVP's official website.
- On successful completion of the counselling process candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MGKVP for document verification and fee payment.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University has not released the 2024 placement report. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out. According to the report, 591 UG and 74 PG students were placed during MGKVP placements 2023. The median package for UG courses ranged between INR 3.37 LPA and INR 6 LPA. For PG courses, the median package was between INR 3.37 LPA and INR 6.50 LPA.

During 2023 placements, 57 PG (2-year) students were placed out of 1,374 graduates. Earlier, out of 1,417 total students 354 were successfully placed in the 2022 drive. The separate placement report for BCom has not been released as of now. However, the University has released the overall placement statistics for UG (3-year) courses. Out of 1,241 UG (3-year) graduates 434 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier, 393 out of 1,208 students were placed in 2021. Looking at the past three years' data, the placement rate has been fluctuating. On the other hand, the median package has improved from 2020 to 2022. Refer to the below table for MGKVP placement trends for UG (3-year) courses:
